THE LOCAL CORE TEAM

As of this month, the Philippine core team includes Emmy Tagunicar at the Makati City study group, Tong Dael at the Las Pinas City study group and Sonny Faylona at the Tagaytay City study group.  All 3 are city coordinators, plus Nancy Abeleda as the overall database coordinator. 

Last year, Art Subijano was replaced by his longtime deputy Sandra Alzona, now  the country coordinator.  He said he may join Global Council Conference meetings abroad, but for now he takes a back seat from the coordinator role.

There are plans to hold the Global Council Conference in Portugal this year.  More details later.



2012 SUMMER OUTING

In talks are plans to hold a meeting and bond at a fun summer outing at a hot spring resort in Laguna City some time in April or May 2012, where city coordinators could invite their group mates and share activities beyond the bounds of their regular study.   

Moreover, the Global Oneness Campaign will be one of the major topics for this outing.



SANDRA ALZONA'S TALK AT THE THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY

Humanity's Team Country Coordinator Sandra Alzona is scheduled on February 12, 2012, Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to hold a talk on "Love and Spirituality" at the Theosophical Society of the Philippines in Quezon City.  She attends some of their regular meetings with her mother and friends. She began contact with theosophical groups abroad when she joined the Krishnamurti Committee Conference in Thailand years ago.
